Meet Anya

As the Ally Development Team project specialist, I get to improve the processes that create a team infrastructure conducive to making a BIG impact in philanthropy. I am energized by imagining what's possible and working to realize big ideas as tangible. My favorite part of my role is lending support so my team can advance the shift of culture and investment dollars toward movements that support love and human flourishing!

I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a BS degree in Public and Nonprofit Management with an emphasis in Community Development. I've enjoyed roles that were centered on event planning, project management, and implementing pilot programs from conceptualization to execution. Prior to coming to the Fetzer Institute, I had the honor of working with communities for 4.5 years in affordable housing, case management advocacy, and asset-based community development.

In my free time, I enjoy taking walks, spending time with my family (including our fur-babies), listening to podcasts, and daydreaming.
